Why should you utilize a Registered Dietitian help you care for your patients -- can’t your nurse perform the same job? A dietitian, registered by the American Dietetic Association, has a minimum of a 4 year degree in nutrition, with a year of supervised internship in an ADA approved program. After fulfilling those requirements they may take the registration examination. This training provides the groundwork necessary to ensure your patients receive the appropriate diet instruction.

What are the ways we can help your practice?

  • CONTROLLING HEALTH CARE COSTS - Utilizing a RD to improve your patient’s diet will decrease their need for (or help them avoid entirely) related medications.

  • IMPROVING COMPLIANCE - Not everyone will succeed if asked to follow the same meal plan, and our dietitians have been trained to counsel your patients to follow a healthy diet that will meet the patients’ food preferences and your diet order.

  • RAPID SCHEDULING - With the second largest practice in the United States, we have the staff available to schedule your patients appointments promptly. Most patients can be seen within one week.

  • IMPROVED COMMUNICATION - You will receive documentation of our visits to include in your chart. You’ll know what instruction was performed, what the patients’ goals are, and what our next step will be.
